Staff Pack
This year all participants will be receiving a black event t-shirt printed with white writing front and back when they check-in. We are also going to be producing a t-shirt for staff which will have the same design (Gilwell 24 logo i/c date) on the front and back except it will be on the maroon t-shirt. (Probably not quite as good quality as the special event ones we had last year.
All staff will have the option on their registration form to pre-register for a staff t-shrrt this will include a t-shirt of the right size. The anticipated cost of this will be £2.50.
All registered staff will be provided with a lanyard and ID badge.
Why are you making me pay for this staff pack, I give up my time for free?
All of the volunteers who run and take part in Gilwell 24 give their time for very little in return. We do our best to feed you, give you a job you like and try and ensure you get a break when you need it. In the past we have supplied pin on id badges which have been fairly easily to lose (in our experience) and the chance if your lucky to purchase an event t-shirt which doesn't stand you out as staff. This year we are offering the chance to purchase the Staff Pack as an additional opportunity and have kept the cost right down to make it available to everyone.
Do I have to pay in advance?
If you are able to put a cheque in the post if you send back a paper staff registration form that would be very helpful in reducing the amount of additional administration that needs to be done on Saturday. If you want to purchase a staff pack we need to have a commitment from you in advance of the event due to the tight budgets we are operating on.
I don't wear t-shirts / can I have a _________?
The standard pack comes with a t-shirt and for mass-production and cost reasons this is the only option we are able to provide. If people do want other items, fleeces, rugby shirts, polo shirts etc please drop me an email - dgillard@gilwell24.info and I will try and arrange pricing and production.
