Can we have / cook on an open fire?
Unfortunately this isn't possible at Gilwell 24. Gilwell Park provides altar fires for cooking whilst camping at Gilwell however due to the nature of the event and numbers of people onsite it isn't possible to use these within the camping areas. In 2012 camping areas will include Branchet Field, Woodlands Field, Mallinsons Chez and Mallinsons Field.
On Friday evening there will be a DIY BBQ available.
